Ethical Code of Conduct

This is the Ethical Code of Conduct for LAK CONSULTING GROUP and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “LAK CONSULTING GROUP”, “us”, “our” or “we”).

This Ethical Code of Conduct is not only in compliance with legal requirements and the recognition of all ethical expectations within the jurisdictions we operate and in agreement with all appropriate internationally accepted standards but reaches beyond our legal obligations and establishes our relationship with society through honesty, respect, and equitable treatment of applicants, candidates, employees, clients, employers and others (collectively, all “Parties”), as well as integrity and social responsibility.

According to this Ethical Code of Conduct, all employees of LAK CONSULTING GROUP will observe the highest principles of ethics, equity, integrity, and professional conduct and fair practice in dealing with all Parties and will conduct business in a manner designed to enhance the operation, image, and reputation of the consulting industry in general and of LAK CONSULTING GROUP in particular.

Respect for Laws and Regulations

LAK CONSULTING GROUP and its employees must comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ordinances, statutory and non-statutory requirements and official guidance and any future amendments to such requirements during the course of providing our services to all Parties. This is one of the most fundamental responsibilities we have to the societies in which we do business and a key part of our ethical responsibilities.

Respect for Safety

LAK CONSULTING GROUP will act diligently in assessing risks to all Parties and will inform them whenever LAK CONSULTING GROUP has reason to believe that an engagement may cause a risk to health and safety. LAK CONSULTING GROUP will not knowingly put a Party at risk.

Respect for Fair Competition Laws and Observing Fair Trade Practices

LAK CONSULTING GROUP compete fairly and ethically and comply with antitrust and other laws and regulations regarding fair competition and fair-trade practices.

Respect for the Environment

We all have a common responsibility for the global environment. Protection of the environment throughout the world is necessary for the sustainable stable growth of our business. Accordingly, LAK CONSULTING GROUP is committed to activities in support of environmental protection such as recycling, and we support proactive participation of our employees in appropriate public affairs activities in their local communities.

Respect for Diversity and Inclusion

Respect for the Rights and Dignity of All People

LAK CONSULTING GROUP adheres to the spirit of all applicable human rights, employment laws, and regulations and will treat all Parties with dignity and respect and without prejudice, abusive or unjustified discrimination to provide equity of employment opportunities based on objective education and business-related criteria.

We carefully observe all laws regarding workplace harassment and discrimination and strictly prohibit behaviour in violation of those laws.

Appropriately Dealings with Government Persons

A critical part of our commitment to the societies in which we do business is our compliance with all laws and regulations concerning our relationships with government officials and government offices. To ensure ethical behaviour and protect our reputation, we carefully observe anti-corruption and other relevant laws and avoid acts that may create even the appearance of misconduct or impropriety in connection with interactions with government officials.

Avoiding Relationships with Organized Crime and Similar Parties

LAK CONSULTING GROUP does not do business or otherwise associate with organized crime, crime syndicates, or other anti-social organizations that promote illegal activity.

Respect for Communicating Effectively and Complying with Agreements

LAK CONSULTING GROUP believes that effective communication with all Parties is an important element of our success. To reduce the risk of disputes, we communicate clearly with the parties with whom we do business to clarify the scope and allocation of responsibilities in our business relationships.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP believes only into fair agreements with other Parties, and that honouring such agreements, is an important element of our ethical behaviour. Any of our agreements must be negotiated, executed, and supervised in accordance with our rules and processes.

Maintaining a Safe and Productive Working Environment

Cultivating and maintaining trust, sound judgment, and mutual respect within LAK CONSULTING GROUP is essential in creating a work environment where our employees can be effective and efficient. We do not engage in violence, harassment, bullying, abuse of authority, or illegal discrimination in the workplace.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP works diligently to develop and maintain a satisfactory level of relevant and current professional knowledge among its employees to ensure an adequately trained and skilled level to undertake their responsibilities in recruitment practice.

Respect for Protecting Intellectual Property

Developing and protecting valuable intellectual property is key to LAK CONSULTING GROUP success. We are careful to protect our own intellectual property and not to violate the intellectual property rights of other parties. LAK CONSULTING GROUP avoid actions that might damage the value of the Group’s copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property. LAK CONSULTING GROUP does not use intellectual property that belongs to third parties without a proper license.

Respect for Safeguarding Confidential and Sensitive Information

To cultivate and maintain trust in the societies in which we do business, it is crucial that we maintain the confidentiality of personal information we obtain in the course of our business.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP observe the highest principles of integrity, professionalism, equity, and fair practice to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of all Parties information and respects the confidentiality of records in accordance with the law and good business practice.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP protect and safeguard confidential and sensitive information that we obtain from any Party. We do not disclose or use such confidential or sensitive information except for its intended purpose.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP does not use non-public information for our benefit or any other improper purpose. Furthermore, LAK CONSULTING GROUP does not make improper use of any information produced within the Group that has not yet been publicly disclosed, regardless of whether such use is for our own benefit or the benefit of a third party.

Fulfilling our Disclosure Obligations as a Public Company

LAK CONSULTING GROUP complies with rules and regulations concerning the timely disclosure of material information. We publicly disclose material developments in respect of our business when required by applicable law. Furthermore, LAK CONSULTING GROUP immediately report the occurrence of events that are material or may become material to LAK CONSULTING GROUP to fulfil our disclosure obligations.

Respect for Honesty and Transparency

Employees of LAK CONSULTING GROUP will act honestly in all dealings with all Parties. In the course of representing a Party, LAK CONSULTING GROUP shall not knowingly make false or inaccurate statement, fail to disclose a material fact, or make a representation as to future matters without having reasonable grounds for making it.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP must adhere to principles of truth in advertising and will only advertise positions, through any medium, for which they have documented permission to recruit.

All fees, charges and service provided must be explicitly and fully disclosed to all Parties prior to the acceptance of an assignment, or prior to any work being undertaken for a Party.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP employees will document all key stages of the recruitment process in line with relevant legislation and good practice guidance.

LAK CONSULTING GROUP reserves the right to change, modify, add, or delete portions of this Code of Conduct at any time, without prior notice by updating the effective date. Please review the Ethical Code of Conduct periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site will mean that you accept such changes or deletions.

If this Ethical Code of Conduct is available in other languages, the English version is the governing version and shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between the two versions.
